How it works
- Drop a .dwg or .dxf file, or click to choose one.
- Wait for the drawing to appear. Large drawings take a while, and the first one on a new device takes longer — the viewer downloads its fonts the first time a drawing needs them.
- Save what you see as PNG, JPG or PDF.
What it cannot draw yet
- External references (XRefs). A part of the drawing that lives in another file is not opened here. The page counts the references it skipped and names them, so you can ask for a copy with them bound in.
- Some entity types. Anything the reader has no definition for is dropped, and unlike XRefs it is not counted. On a complex drawing, treat the picture as close to the drawing rather than identical to it.
- Fonts it does not have. Text can come out missing or in a substitute face. The viewer downloads its font set from a public CDN (jsDelivr) when a drawing first needs it.
